1st Day
Early in the morning we leave to the community of Palacios in La Moskitia. During the journey we will appreciate the areas of crop and livestock production.
As we get into region we will also appreciate different Garifuna communities. Once at our destination we arrive at HOTEL Moskitia which will be our base. In the afternoon we will take a boat ride through the Bacalar lagoon where can appreciate different kinds of birds, alligators, monkeys and a beautiful sunset, then return to the hotel where we will have dinner and rest.
2nd Day
In the morning, after breakfast we will go for unforgettable adventure into the Ibanks lagoon where we visit the lowlands of the Rio Platano. We appreciate the lush flora and fauna of the area, then visit the different coastal Miskito communities of the lagoon to interact with people to learn about their culture and traditions. Lunch in the area and in the afternoon we visit the beautiful beaches with white sand dunes.
On the way back to the hotel we will see beautiful landscapes in the lagoon.Dine in the hotel.
3rd Day
Back to La Ceiba, the return trip is optional, early morning or at noon.

1St Day
Departure from La Ceiba to Palacios, where our base Hotel Moskitia is located.
2nd Day
A short boat trip will take us to the community of RAIS-TA and the nearby communities of BELEN and COCOBILA. In the afternoon we will go to the beach and enjoy its majestic white sand dunes. We will spend the night in RAIS-TA.
3rd Day
After breakfast we will go to Baltimore, located south of IBANKS Lagoon where we will hike into the lush tropical forest to observe the flora and fauna. In the afternoon we will go to the garifuna community of Plaplaya to interact with the people and visit a conservation project of Sea Turtles. Later we will relax on the beach. In the evening return to Hotel Moskitia, enjoy the nocturnal landscapes reflected in water and we could see the lizards.
After dinner enjoy the folkloric dances of the area.
4th Day
After breakfast we will make our trip back to La Ceiba.

Departure from La Ceiba to Palacios, where our base Hotel Moskitia is located.
2nd Day
A short boat trip will take us to the community of RAIS-TA and the nearby communities of BELEN and COCOBILA. In the afternoon we will go to the beach and enjoy its majestic white sand dunes, after we will return to Hotel Moskitia.
3rd Day
After breakfast we will go to Baltimore, located south of IBANKS Lagoon, set up a camp there from where we lush rainforest expeditions to observe the flora and fauna. We will sleep at the base camp.
4th Day
After breakfast, we assemble the camp and we will move to the garifuna community of Plaplaya, there we will visit the conservation project of Sea Turtles. In the afternoon we will relax by visiting the beautiful beaches with its majestic white sand dunes.
In the evening return to the Hotel Moskitia where we will dine and enjoy folk dances.
5th Day
After breakfast we will make our trip back to La Ceiba.
1st Day
Departure from La Ceiba to Palacios, where our base Hotel Moskitia is located.
2nd Day
Here we board a boat called "pipante" to move to LAS MARIAS community located in the Rio Platano Biosphere. During the tour we appreciate the lush vegetation, flocks of monkeys, exotic birds and parrots, white-tailed deer groups and alligators. We will rest and spend the night in a cozy family hotel.
3rd Day
After breakfast we will begin an unforgettable adventure on a hike through the rainforest to the point where some indigenous boats between the currents take us to a corner of the Rio Platano Biosphere where the petroglyphs (rock carvings) from an unknown civilization that lived in the area thousands of years ago. We will picnic and return to the community of Las Marias, where we spend the night.
4th Day
In the morning, after breakfast, we will board the boat that will lead us down the river to the community of Rais-ta for lunch. In the afternoon a visit to the beach and take time to relax. Spend the night in the community.
5th Day
In the morning we will visit the coastal communities of La Moskitia in the area of IBANKS Lagoon to interact with members of different ethnic groups who lives in the place. In the afternoon return to Hotel Moskitia to dine and enjoy folk dancing.
6th Day
After breakfast we will make our trip back to La Ceiba.
This tour can be done in the morning or afternoon in order to appreciate different varieties of wetland birds, plains, savannas and tropical forests
